Collection: FORCE MAJEURE

This design began its life in 2018 as a linocut, about 10cm wide. From cards and little artworks printed by hand, it made its way on to clothing (as most things do around here) via screenprint, and then embroidery. 

Force Majeure's translation from French is roughly "Act of God". Grammatically it's "feminine" but this is a design for all humans because it stands for the power each of us has to create: to make new, to start again, to make art, to connect.
