Made on Day 47/100.
This artwork is named, signed, and dated on the back so that you can orient it any way you choose. See the photos in this listing for the best options.
(If you'd prefer the signature etc on the front, let me know once you've placed your order and we can chat about where it will go.)
The style of figure drawing is one I continue to use as an exercise in my studies at painting school: drawing an entire figure without taking the stylus off the surface. It requires a combination of faith, surrender, and acceptance. It's a form of meditation almost, an exercise in letting go.
Not only is the tondo a good go-to for me in a project with such broad parameters ("use an Adobe iPad app every day") but "being in a bubble" has really taken on a new and challenging meaning in the last year. I wanted to explore how humans relate to each other when they have to be close. Sometimes it's closeness we need, and sometimes it's just too close for comfort.
A great piece for your WFH space...
