I make hand-built forms as a way of connecting with a human creative heritage that is thousands of years old; as old as we are, arguably. Making things from the earth, with my hands.

I am developing a personal gestural lexicon, building with coils and slabs and throwing forms on a wheel.

My drawing and painting practices are given three dimensional expression through drawing, working with texture, and painting with glaze.

This is a new yet deeply familiar pathway. When you collect my ceramic work you are supporting my artistic development and creative commerce.

You are also investing in the "future me", an artist who is contributing to our community here in NZ through workshop facilitation and writing about art-making and creativity.
